Michelle never stops learning about herself, her team and how to best motivate others. “I really believe that people want to do good work and accomplish great things. If you go into any exchange with people assuming anything less, you’re going to disengage them.”

She has excellent negotiation, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and an ability to captivate an audience. Michelle genuinely enjoys connecting with leaders, helping them build awareness and skills to address operational needs and achieve strategic goals.
VanderMeer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from College of Wooster and a Master’s in Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. In her time away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her two children, attempting to improve her digital photography skills and searching for the perfect margarita recipe.
Michelle's Satisfied Clients
What I appreciated about working with her was her ability to not only inspire our team toward a common goal, but also recognize, trust and leverage each team member’s contributive strengths to meet those goals. The end result was the most positive and effective outcome in four years!
Michelle consistently makes the most of organizational energy and potential, channeling the talent and energy of a team toward important strategic objectives, while leaving behind a culture that is better than she found.
Michelle is, hands down, one of the best leaders and mentors I have met in my career.
