Assessments are crucial as they provide invaluable insights into individuals’ and organization’s strengths and areas for development, empowering informed decisions, maximizing potential, and driving organizational growth.
10 TIPS FOR RATERS
Thank you for agreeing to provide feedback using Humanergy’s Effective Leadership Profile(ELP360™) assessment. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you complete it. Please note that the person for whom you are providing feedback is referred to as the participant below. You are referred to as the rater.
1) Value of your feedback. You have been asked to give feedback because the participant values your insight and wants to use your input to better understand their performance. Your open and honest feedback will help the participant create a more effective plan for improvement.
2) Email notification. You will receive an email from SurveyConnect (emails@av360.app) with instructions on how to give feedback. Please read this email carefully, because it contains the link you will use to get to the right website, your username and password and helpful tips for using the system. Please note: Spam filters occasionally send this email to your SPAM folder. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the initial email.
3) Anonymity. Unless you are entered as the participant’s supervisor, your feedback will be grouped with other raters and averaged. The participant will not know the ratings you entered. Likewise, your written comments will not be attributed to you. Written comments will be presented in the report exactly as you type them.
4) Time required. Most people spend about 30 to 60 minutes completing the online assessment. If you choose to make written comments on each competency, it may take you an hour to complete the assessment.
5) Types of questions. This customized 360 assessment is based on the Humanergy Effective Leadership Profile and captures the competencies and behaviors required for transformative leadership. You will rate each item on a 1 to 5 scale.
6) Written comments. For each competency area, you will have an opportunity to share additional feedback by typing your comments. You can also provide summary comments at the end of the assessment. Written comments provide the participant with additional insight beyond your number rating. You are encouraged to share as many comments as you can.
7) Accessing the assessment. To complete the feedback, click on the link in the email and enter the username and password provided.
8) Completing the assessment. It doesn’t have to be completed in one sitting. You are able to save partial ratings and return using the same link and login information provided.
9) Follow-up. Some participants may follow up with raters to get additional feedback or solicit input during the development of their improvement plan.
