Karen coordinates the day-to-day details for Humanergy’s business success.
A veteran banker, she has worked more than twenty years in commercial lending. Karen has created systems for tracking business prospects, goals and outcomes. She offers clients exceptional service and enjoys being part of their breakthroughs in thinking and behavior.
Originally from Michigan, Karen spent time in Zimbabwe during her formative years. She has served in numerous volunteer capacities in several organizations for which she has a passion, including the YMCA on its board of directors, Habitat for Humanity, student tutoring and her church in multiple roles.
Karen has a bachelor’s degree in economics and professional management from Albion College. She believes in looking for the spiritual core in all people and being an active participant in your own life. One of her favorite quotes is the Girl Scout rule: “Leave it better than you found it.” For Karen, this spans the environment, relationships and what she does at work and in life.
Karen joined Humanergy in 2003. In her free time she enjoys working out, biking, reading, computer games, traveling, and hanging out with her grandchildren.
