Jim Marshall

Executive and Corporate Experience Coach

Jim is a leadership coach who partners with individuals and teams to bring about transformation. He has partnered with people and organizations all over the world, in various industries and from the Boardroom to the plant floor. He works hard to listen, observe, understand, and build connections with colleagues and clients. He consistently asks what impact we’re aiming for, always focusing on the greater good.

Jim has led or facilitated a variety of transformations. He has worked one-on-one with struggling executives to create clarity of purpose, solve challenging people dynamics, and improve results. As a CHRO, he led the organization to achieve certification as a Fortune Best
Workplace while navigating complex issues such as acquisition or the Pandemic. He is experienced in navigating conversations around strategy, competitive advantage, culture and engagement, acquisition, operational effectiveness, Board governance, and individual/team turnarounds.

Jim has held many roles throughout his career from VP of Operations to CHRO and from Leadership Coach/Consultant to Campus Minister. During that time, he has had the privilege of working with excellent leaders and honing the skills and principles required to create success. Former colleagues and clients like to joke that he can’t leave a conversation without drawing something somewhere.

Jim has a degree in business from Western Michigan University. He is a certified coach, a certified facilitator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and a certified Peer-Coaching Circles Guide.

Outside work, he is the father of three adult daughters. You can find him outdoors on a road or trail running, hiking or skiing. He loves to spend time in and around the water where you’re likely to find him quoting, “Good friends plus good food equals good times.” Two of his most cherished principles are to never give up and never stop learning.
